Getting Started

The Klu admin web app โ€” learn every action you can perform.

The Klu Dashboard is the web app where you configure your organization, run daily operations, and manage every branch. If this is your first day, follow the checklist below. Otherwise jump straight to whatever you need from the sidebar.

First-day checklist

The fastest route from an empty account to ringing up your first sale. Each step links straight into the dashboard.

  1. Create your organization โ€” sign up, verify the email, set the org name.
  2. Add a branch โ€” in Settings โ†’ Branches, create your first physical location.
  3. Create a category โ€” in Categories, add at least one (e.g., "Drinks").
  4. Create a product โ€” in Products, add one with a price and category.
  5. Link an iPad โ€” in Cash Drawers โ†’ Devices, scan the QR from the iPad POS app.
  6. Open a drawer โ€” on the iPad, open a cash drawer shift with an opening balance.
  7. Ring up a sale โ€” on the iPad, add the product to a tab and charge it.

Tips

  • The QR pairing code expires after a few minutes โ€” rescan if the iPad says expired.
  • Each branch has its own product visibility โ€” a brand-new branch sees every org product by default unless you hide specific ones under branch-specific pricing.
  • Want to invite a teammate before the first sale? Do it under Settings โ†’ Team.
