Overview
Branch -> Cash Drawers is the hub for everything that touches a cash register โ which iPads are linked, which shifts are open, and every cash-in / cash-out movement. Three tabs: Devices, Shifts, and Logs.
When to use it
- Pairing a new iPad to the branch via QR code
- Checking which shifts are currently open
- Reading opening amount, closing amount, sales, and shift details
- Auditing cash movements for a specific staff member or device
How to use it

- Open Cash Drawers from the sidebar.
- Confirm the branch selector โ drawers are always branch-scoped.
- Switch tabs:
- Devices โ device cards with cash-in-drawer, shift status, and pairing
- Shifts โ shift log with status, opening amount, closing amount, total sales, and sale count
- Logs โ cash drawer events such as Cash In, Cash Out, Reset Cash, Open Shift, Close Shift, and Open Drawer
Tips & gotchas
- STAFF can view devices; MANAGER+ can open / close shifts and rename devices; only OWNER can disconnect a device.
- Disconnecting a device clears the remaining cash-in-drawer โ close the shift first if there's money to account for.
