Edit cart items
Change quantity, apply per-item discount, or remove a line
Overview
The cart is live โ every line is editable until the order is paid. Tap a line to re-open its product sheet and change the quantity, swipe left on a line to delete it, or apply a per-item discount on the order review screen. The totals recompute instantly.
When to use it
- Customer changes their mind about a quantity
- Negotiated discount on a single item (not the whole order)
- Ringing-up mistake โ wrong product or wrong amount
- Removing a line entirely before checkout
How to use it

- Change a quantity or variant:
- Tap the line in the cart โ the product detail sheet re-opens with the current quantity filled in.
- Edit the quantity on the keypad.
- Tap Update to save the change back to the cart.
- Remove a line:
- Swipe left on the cart line โ a red Delete action reveals.
- Complete the swipe to remove the item immediately.
- Apply a per-item discount (on the order review screen):
- Tap the big green total button on the cart to advance to the review screen.
- Tap the discount input at the end of a line to enter a percentage or fixed amount.
- The line's total updates and the order subtotal reflects the discount.
Tips & gotchas
- Per-line discounts live on the order review screen, not on the Home cart itself โ tap the total button first.
- Swipe-to-delete is permanent โ the line is gone as soon as the swipe completes, no confirmation.
- If a line is part of a promotion (BOGO, mix-and-match), removing it can invalidate the whole promotion โ Klu recomputes the cart and the promo badge disappears.
- Editing quantity re-evaluates price tiers โ going from 3g to 10g may bump you into a cheaper tier automatically.
- A
*next to the cart quantity means the actual weighed amount differs from the billed quantity (rounding applied).
