Pick a payment method, confirm, and finalize the sale
Overview
After tapping Confirm Order on the order review, the iPad lands on the Complete Order screen. The payment method grid sits at the top, the total sits below it, and the right column holds the Order Paid, Pay Later, and Cancel Order buttons. Available methods are Cash, Visa, Mastercard, generic Card, Transfer, Prompt Pay, Alipay, WeChat Pay, and Crypto.
When to use it
- Every paid sale at the register
- Saving an order for later settlement (Pay Later)
- Cancelling an order that was created by mistake before payment
How to use it
Video tutorial coming soon
- From the order review, tap Confirm Order โ the iPad creates the sale and navigates to Complete Order.
- Tap one of the payment method tiles at the top (Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Card, Transfer, Prompt Pay, Alipay, WeChat Pay, or Crypto). The tile turns green when selected.
- The middle section updates based on the method โ a cash keypad, a QR code, or a "wait for payment" prompt.
- Complete the method-specific flow (see the sub-pages for each).
- Tap Order Paid on the right โ the iPad finalizes the sale and routes to Print Receipt.
Tips & gotchas
- Order Paid stays disabled until a payment method is selected.
- Partial payments are not supported โ split the bill into separate sales on the Home screen if the customer pays with two methods.
- Payment methods are organization-wide โ every method shows in the grid for every branch; which ones you actually accept is a branch policy, not a config toggle.
- Pay Later is a separate yellow button, not a tile in the grid โ tap it to save the sale to Pending Bills without marking it paid.
- Cancel Order on this screen deletes the sale (status CANCELLED) โ it does not go to Pending Bills.
