Organization name and day start
Set your legal org name and the time of day that counts as the start of a new business day.
Open in dashboardSettings โ Organization
Overview
The Organization tab sets org-wide identity and timing. The most impactful field here is Start Day At โ it defines when one business day ends and the next begins, which drives daily and weekly rollups across reports and analytics.
When to use it
- Updating your organization's display / legal name
- Setting or adjusting the business day boundary so nightly sales roll into the correct day
- Aligning daily rollups with your actual closing time
How to use it

- Open Settings -> Organization.
- Edit Organization Name โ this is your display / legal name across the app and invoices.
- Set Start Day At using the time picker (e.g.,
06:00means the business day runs from 6am to 6am the next day). - Click Save โ a toast confirms the change.
Tips & gotchas
- OWNER only โ other roles can't edit this tab.
- A late day-start time (say 4am) makes post-midnight sales count toward the previous day's rollup โ matches how most retail closes "after midnight but before opening".
- Changing the day-start time does not retroactively re-bucket historical sales โ it only affects future rollups.
- Branches also have their own Start Day At setting for per-branch rollups; the organization value is the default fallback.
