Loyalty points

Configure the earn rate and redeem cap for your customer loyalty program.

Open in dashboardSettings โ†’ Organization

Overview

Loyalty settings are org-wide. You set how many points a customer earns per unit of currency spent (earn rate) and how large a share of an invoice can be paid with points (redeem cap %). Per-customer balances then accrue automatically at checkout.

When to use it

  • Launching a customer loyalty program for the first time
  • Adjusting the generosity of your program (e.g., raising earn rate for a promo)
  • Capping discount abuse by lowering the redeem percentage

How to use it

Video tutorial coming soon
  1. Open Settings -> Organization.
  2. Enter the Loyalty Rate (points earned per currency unit spent, e.g., 1 point per 10 THB).
  3. Enter the Redeem Rate / cap โ€” the max share of an invoice that can be paid with points (e.g., 20%).
  4. Click Save.

Tips & gotchas

  • OWNER only.
  • Both values are capped 0-100 โ€” Klu rejects out-of-range entries.
  • Setting the earn rate to 0 effectively pauses new point accrual without wiping balances.
  • Setting the redeem cap to 0 disables redemption but keeps balances intact โ€” useful for a temporary freeze.
  • Individual customer balances are adjusted in the customer profile โ€” this page only sets the org-wide rules.
