Overview

The Products view in Sales rolls every sale up by product so you can see which SKUs are pulling revenue, margin, and volume. Think of it as a product leaderboard for the selected period and branches.

When to use it

  • Finding your top-selling products by revenue, profit, or quantity
  • Spotting products that had heavy discounts or waste
  • Comparing average price and average quantity per sale
  • Exporting product-level performance for a planning meeting

How to use it

Video tutorial coming soon
  1. Open Sales and switch to the Products tab.
  2. Set branches and a date range in the header.
  3. Narrow the list with the sub-header filters:
    • Cashiers (staff who rang sales)
    • Tab creators (staff who opened the tab)
    • Categories
  4. Type into Search to find a product by name.
  5. Pick a sort โ€” 17 options are available: name, gross revenue, promo, tier discount, item discount, sale discount, loyalty discount, revenue, cost, profit, quantity, average quantity, sales waste, average price, sales count, last sale date.
  6. Click Copy to grab the current view as TSV for Excel or Google Sheets.

Tips & gotchas

  • The columns in the TSV mirror the visible columns โ€” apply your filters before copying.
  • The list uses infinite scroll โ€” if there's a "Load more" button, there's more data than what's visible. Klu will warn you if you copy before loading everything.
  • Revenue is net of discounts; gross revenue is the pre-discount figure. The split between Promo / Tier / Item / Sale / Loyalty discounts lets you see what drove markdowns.
