Set up a new promotion with type, target, trigger, reward, and scope.

Overview
Create a promotion by picking a type, defining what triggers it, what it rewards, and when and where it applies.
When to use it
- Launching a new campaign across branches
- Adding a recurring discount rule
- Running a limited-time offer tied to specific products or categories
- Setting up VIP-only pricing for select customers
How to use it

- Go to Promotions.
- Click Create Promotion.
- Fill the common fields:
- Name (required)
- Apply to: product or category
- Start / end date (leave empty for "always active")
- Branch scope (all branches or specific)
- Customer scope (all customers or specific)
- Active flag
- Pick a type โ trigger and reward fields appear based on your choice.
- Configure the trigger (qty/value threshold) and reward (discount or free product).
- Click Save.
Tips & gotchas
- Required: name, type, trigger, reward.
- Leaving dates empty = always active.
- Branch scope defaults to all branches if not specified.
- Customer scope lets you restrict to targeted customers (VIP pricing).
