General analytics

Revenue, cost, profit, margin, and sales trend breakdowns.

Open in dashboardAnalytics โ†’ General

Overview

The General tab shows the core health metrics of the business: revenue, cost, profit, profit margin, plus a sales history area chart and breakdowns by weekday, hour, payment method, and online vs retail.

When to use it

  • Weekly/monthly performance review
  • Calculating margins across branches
  • Spotting the busiest weekdays and hours to plan staffing
  • Reviewing payment-method mix (cash vs card vs PromptPay)

How to use it

Video tutorial coming soon
  1. Open Analytics and confirm you're on the General tab.
  2. Set the date range and branches in the page header.
  3. Top 8 cards show revenue, cost, profit, margin, and related totals for the selected range. The layout adapts to your screen width (1/2/4 columns).
  4. Sales history area chart plots revenue over time. Hover any day for exact numbers.
  5. Weekday bar chart breaks out revenue by day of week โ€” handy for planning staffing.
  6. Hourly bar chart shows the hour-by-hour pattern.
  7. Online vs retail pie splits sales between e-commerce and in-store.
  8. Top payment methods table ranks payment types by volume.

Tips & gotchas

  • All charts respect the shared branch + date range filters at the top.
  • Changing date range triggers a full refetch of every chart.
  • Numbers respect the day start time configured in Settings -> Organization โ€” late-night sales may land on the previous day.
