When to use it
- Checking whether a shift is still open or was closed correctly
- Reviewing the full transaction breakdown for one shift
- Auditing a specific cashier's opening / closing behavior over time
How to use it
Video tutorial coming soon
- Open Cash Drawers -> Shifts.
- Set the date range at the top.
- Review the table:
- Status, Device, Cashier
- Start time / End time
- Opening amount
- Closing amount
- Total sales
- Sale count
- Click a shift row — a modal opens with the full breakdown: cash flow, transactions, payment methods, sales breakdown, opening amount, and closing amount.
Tips & gotchas
- To check the drawer manually, use: opening amount + cash sales + cash in - cash out.
- If money was removed during End Shift, compare the manual expected amount with closing amount + close shift operation amount.
- Open Shift / Close Shift happens on the iPad — the Dashboard is read-only for reconciliation.
