Manage loyalty points

Adjust a customer's loyalty balance — earn, redeem, or manual correction.

Overview

Loyalty points accumulate automatically based on your organization's earn rate. You can also adjust a customer's balance manually for corrections or one-off rewards.

When to use it

  • Correcting a balance after a data import
  • Rewarding a customer with bonus points outside the normal earn flow
  • Deducting points after a refund or dispute
  • Setting a one-time "VIP" balance

How to use it

  1. Open the customer's detail page (Organization → Customers → click row).
  2. Click the star / points icon near the loyalty balance.
  3. Adjust with the + / – buttons or type an exact value directly.
  4. Click Save — the balance updates immediately.

Tips & gotchas

  • Earn rate (points per $ spent) and redeem rate ($ per point) are configured in Settings → Organization.
  • Points earned on a sale are applied automatically at checkout.
  • Redeemed points appear in the sale summary as a loyalty discount.
  • Manual adjustments are logged for audit history.
