Branch-specific pricing

Override a product's price, image, or visibility for one branch only.

Open in dashboardProducts

Overview

By default, a product is identical across every branch. Branch-specific settings let you override the price, image, and visibility for one branch without affecting the others โ€” useful when a second location has different cost structures, different customers, or doesn't carry an item at all.

When to use it

  • One branch sells the same item at a different price
  • A product is out of rotation at one branch but active elsewhere
  • You want to feature a different photo per location

How to use it

Video tutorial coming soon
  1. Open Products.
  2. Use the branch selector at the top to pick a single branch. The list updates with a note: "Showing branch-specific products for [Branch Name]".
  3. Open a product's edit menu โ€” Klu opens the branch-specific form instead of the global form.
  4. Override the fields you want โ€” price, image, etc. Fields you leave alone inherit from the global product.
  5. Save. The override applies only to that branch.
  6. To hide a product from a branch entirely, use the Hide action in the row menu (only available when a branch is selected).

Tips & gotchas

  • To edit the global product, switch back to All Branches first โ€” otherwise you're only editing that branch's override.
  • Hidden products stay in the global catalog โ€” they just don't appear in iPad POS or analytics for the hidden branch.
  • Branch overrides take priority over price strategies for the overridden fields.
