Stock tab
Per-product stock levels across rooms, with filters, sort, and room management.

Overview
The Stock tab is the live view of every product's quantity in every room of the current branch. It includes room management (create, edit, delete rooms), filters for rooms and categories, and the row action menu from which every stock action (restock, move, waste, convert) is launched.
When to use it
- Checking current on-hand quantities by product and room
- Creating a new room (e.g., "Back of house") and organizing stock into it
- Filtering to low-stock items only
- Drilling into a specific category or room before taking action
How to use it

- Open Inventory and stay on the Stock tab (default).
- Use the rooms list on the side to create, edit, or delete rooms.
- Filter by rooms (multi-select), categories (multi-select), low-stock, or quantity range (greater than / less than).
- Search by product name or SKU — 500ms debounce.
- Sort by product name.
- Open the row action menu on any product to launch an action — Move to Room, Move to Branch, Manage Waste, Convert, Edit Stock, Delete Stock.
Tips & gotchas
- Columns include quantity, unit, est. cost (qty × cost/unit), and est. value (qty × sale price).
- The low-stock indicator shows when quantity falls below the product/category threshold.
- Deleting a room requires the room to be empty — move or reconcile stock out first.
- Creating stock is done via the Restock Product flow (not from this tab directly).
- Infinite scroll — click Load more for older products.
