Overview
The Logs tab is the full, unfiltered audit trail of stock movements โ every restock, move, waste, conversion, sale, and reconciliation adjustment. It's read-only by design so history never rewrites itself.
When to use it
- Investigating a discrepancy (who moved what, when)
- Auditing staff actions for a specific period
- Tracking the history of a specific product across all movements
How to use it

- Open Inventory -> Logs.
- Set the date range at the top.
- Filter by operation type (RECEIVED, SOLD, WASTE, MOVED, CONVERTED, etc.), staff, or product.
- Search by product name, staff name, or reason โ 500ms debounce.
- Sort by date (default most recent first), operation type, or product name.
- Click Load more for older entries โ infinite-scroll pagination.
Tips & gotchas
- No edit, no delete โ the log is immutable for audit integrity.
- Columns include: date/time, operation type, product, quantity (+/-), unit, from room, to room, performed by, reason.
- If a movement was a reversal (e.g., Remove Waste), both the original and the reversal show up as separate entries.
- Date range persists via
inventory-datesโ same key as Stock Flow.
