Generate a report

Create a new report by picking a type, date range, branch, and filters.

Overview

Generate a report by filling in the report type, date range, branches, and any type-specific filters. The report is queued and becomes downloadable once ready.

When to use it

  • Pulling a monthly sales summary
  • Generating a regulatory filing for the current period
  • Extracting staff commission data for payroll
  • Exporting a compliance snapshot for audit

How to use it

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Click Generate Report in the page header.
  3. Fill the form:
    • Report type (required)
    • Date range
    • Branches (multi-select)
    • Custom filters per type (room, category group, payment methods, sale status/type, etc.)
    • Name for the report
  4. Click Generate.
  5. A new row appears in the list with status DRAFT → GENERATING → READY (or ERROR).

Tips & gotchas

  • Generation runs in the background — you don't have to wait on the form.
  • Status polls automatically — refresh isn't needed.
  • If the report errors, the row shows an error message; delete and retry.
